We will search the waters from Land’s End to the Lizard, both along the coastline and further offshore, in dedicated pursuit of bluefin tuna. Guided by our specialist guide, we’ll watch for these ocean giants breaching, feeding, and hunting garfish, with the chance of witnessing a major bait ball feeding event.

We depart from Penzance Harbour and head out on a strike mission to top spots from Cape Cornwall to the Lizard Peninsula, using our expert knowledge of the best locations for spotting tuna. Our guides use their past knowledge of certain sites to track down where the action is happening. Trip times are specifically chosen around the correct tides to spot tuna, giving you the best chance of a sighting.
Whilst making our way along the coast, we’ll pass dramatic cliffs and remote coastal scenery rarely seen from land, keeping watch for signs of activity below and above the waterline — from diving seabirds to sudden bursts of movement at the surface.
No two trips follow exactly the same path. Depending on where activity is concentrated on the day, we may spend longer near Land’s End, head miles off shore or push further toward the Lizard — always adapting to give you the best possible encounter. We will look for offshore bait ball events and coastal feeding behaviours.
