How long is the South West Coast Path?

The South West Coast Path extends up to 630 miles long (1,014 km). If you fancy walking the whole way, be prepared as this trip can take around 50 days! However, you will get some stunning scenery of the South West Peninsula.

Where does the South West Coast Path Start?

This trail starts in Minehead, Somerset and extends along Exmoor, through Devon and into Cornwall. After Cornwall it ranges along the South coast back into Devon and over the River Tamar before coming to an end along the Dorset coastline in Poole Harbour.

What is the highest point on the South West Coast Path?

The summit of the Great Hangman is the highest point of the entirety of the South West Coast Path. This section of path starts at Lynmouth and ends in Combe Martin village, from here you will get to see one of Exmoor’s greatest attractions, the Valley of Rocks.
