Mount’s Bay Discovery Boat Trip

A coastal wildlife adventure from Penzance, where we’ll stay sheltered within the scenic Mounts Bay.

Our first stop will be St. Clement’s Island, just outside Mousehole, where we’ll look for seals basking on the rocks or foraging among the kelp.

Next, we’ll journey to the Tater Du Lighthouse, where our guides will discuss the features of the bay that shape its unique ecosystem. Leaving the rugged coastline behind, we’ll sweep across the bay, hoping to spot dolphins, porpoises, and even whales that use this area as a nursery. Along the way, we will share fascinating information about the amazing pelagic and coastal birds that soar over these waters in search of food, all while providing you with an offshore perspective of the bay.

Depending on our journey and time remaining after searching for dolphins, we will often pass by historic St. Michael’s Mount. Recognized as the jewel of Cornish heritage, a great consolation prize if the dolphins are elsewhere.
