Departing from Hayle. We will take an unforgettable trip, hugging some of the most incredible coastlines the UK has to offer. Due to the exposed nature of the coast, we will customise your trip on the day to give you the best experience. Whether we go north or south out of Hayle estuary, we will show you what this amazing coastline has to offer, including Pendeen Lighthouse, the iconic Cape Cornwall, Seal Island, Botallack Mines, Godrevy Lighthouse and Hell’s Mouth just to name a few!
With roots dating back to the Bronze Age, at Botallack you can see some of the stunning clifftop mines that put Cornwall on the map during the industrial revolution. With breathtaking views and fascinating history to boot, Botallack is not to be missed.
As the mighty Atlantic Ocean meets the Irish Sea, Cape Cornwall is one of the secrets behind the rich marine life in the area. As one of only two capes in the UK, the massive movement of water here trudges up a feast from the depths, sustaining an abundance of life.
Only accessible by boat, Godrevy Lighthouse lies a mile offshore amongst an infamous reef known as the Nine Maidens, or to seasoned sailors, The Stones. With a colourful past filled with skullduggery and tragedy, the island is now home to a wealth of marine life from seals to seabirds.
At a whopping 630 miles long, the South West Coastal Path is the longest waymarked footpath in the UK. Stretching from Somerset right around Cornwall and into Dorset, the path boasts some of the best views in Cornwall, with crashing waves and rugged cliff faces as far as the eye can see.
During the trip, we will take a wide sweep out to sea and run offshore. This trip will give you a unique experience of the undeniable beauty of some of the most exposed coastlines in Britain and the wildlife that lives within it.
