The Route

Departing from Hayle estuary, this boat trip along the dramatic north coastline of Cornwall promises an adventure filled with breathtaking scenery, historical sites, and captivating myths and legends. This journey will take you through some of the most striking coastal landscapes in the UK whilst offering the opportunity to see a diverse range of wildlife, such as dolphins, whales, porpoises sea birds and more!

Godrevy Lighthouse

An inspiration for Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse, this beacon has been guiding sailors since 1859. Often frequented by seals, it adds a charming touch to our adventure.

Ralph’s Cupboard

A dramatic sea cave named after a legendary smuggler. The towering cliffs and deep cave evoke a sense of mystery and adventure, making it a must-see on our route.

Hell’s Mouth

Known for its sheer cliffs and treacherous waters. This ominous cove, with its powerful beauty, serves as a sobering reminder of the sea’s dangers and adds a dramatic flair to our trip.

St Agnes Head

We enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic and the remnants of Cornwall’s mining heritage. This headland, part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers a glimpse into the region’s industrial past.

Wheal Coates Mine

An 18th-century tin mine perched on the cliffs. The haunting ruins and legends of “knockers,” spirits said to haunt the mines, add a touch of supernatural intrigue.

As we make our way back, the stories of the past linger in our minds. The north coast of Cornwall, with its stunning scenery and rich tapestry of history and legend, offers an unforgettable boat trip experience. Each stop on our route tells a unique story, weaving together the natural beauty and cultural heritage of this remarkable region.
